The iPhone 16 series has made waves around the world since its release. Finally, some technicians opened the inside of the iPhone 16 Pro. The disassembly videos of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max revealed the design changes Apple made to its next-generation phones.
iPhone 16 Pro Max disassembled
One of the most noticeable changes with the iPhone 16 series is the size of the motherboard. Compared to the iPhone 15 Pro, the motherboard is smaller and the hardware is more tightly packed. While this has made more efficient use of internal volume, it can be a challenge for repair.
Both new iPhone models use larger camera modules with a 12 Megapixel periscope telephoto lens. On the other hand, it was noticed that the selfie camera has shrunk a bit this year. Another important difference is that the camera button on the 16 Pro is laser-fixed to the body without being removable.
Apple has placed the battery in a metal casing for better temperature control in the iPhone 16 Pro. The battery capacity is up about 9 percent from the previous generation to 3,582mAh, but the size hasn’t changed much.
The video also shows that the iPhone 16 Pro Max still uses a black finish. This is probably because the battery size has enough ventilation.
